기도와 변화 Prayer And Transformation

 

 

이에 그들이 그들의 고통 때문에 여호와께 부르짖으매 그가 그들의 고통에서 그들을 인도하여 내시고 (시편 107:28)

They cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. [ PSALM 107:28 ]

우리가 하나님을 바라보며 하나님의 지혜와 힘을 의지하기 시작할 때 종종 일들이 변화되고 다시 형성되기 시작합니다. 이스라엘 백성들이 그랬던 것처럼 우리가 “(우리의) 고통 때문에 여호와께 부르짖을” 때, 우리의 가장 절실한 곤경까지 근본적으로 변화시키고 우리를 가장 괴롭히는 질문에 답을 주실 수 있는 유일하신 분, 하나님을 발견하게 됩니다(시편 107:28). 하나님은 “광풍을 고요하게” 하시며 “광야가 변하여 못이 되게” 하십니다(29, 35절). 우리가 하나님께 기도드리면 그분은 절망에서 소망을, 폐허에서 아름다움을 이끌어 내십니다.

As we turn to God and begin relying on His wisdom and strength, things often begin to shift and reshape. Like Israel, when we cry “out to the Lord in [our] trouble,” we discover the God who alone is capable of profoundly transforming even our most dire predicaments and answering our most vexing questions (PSALM 107:28). God stills “the storm to a whisper” and turns “the desert into pools of water” (VV. 29, 35). The One to whom we pray brings hope out of despair and beauty out of ruin.

하지만 하나님은 우리의 시간이 아닌 그분의 시간에 따라 변화시키십니다. 기도는 우리가 그분이 변화시키시는 일에 참여하는 것입니다.

God, I need Your transforming work. Please change what only You can change.

하나님, 저에게 주님의 변화시키는 사역이 필요합니다. 주님만이 하실 수 있는 대로 변화시켜 주소서.
