믿음의 도약 Leap Of Faith

 

 

너는 범사에 그를 인정하라 그리하면 네 길을 지도하시리라 (잠언 3:6)

성경은 의심이 들고 불확실해 보일 때 하나님을 신뢰하고 “(우리의) 명철을 의지하지 말라”(잠언 3:5)고 가르칩니다. 마음에 두려움과 의심이 가득하면 앞에 놓인 길이 불확실하고 굽어 보일 수 있습니다. 그러나 우리의 길을 하나님께 맡기고 믿음으로 걸음을 내디디면 “주님께서 (우리가) 가는 길을 곧게 하실 것입니다”(6절, 새번역). 우리는 기도와 말씀을 통해 하나님이 어떤 분인지 알게 됨으로 믿음의 도약을 하는데 더욱 확신을 갖게 됩니다.

Scripture teaches us to put our trust in God and “lean not on [our] own understanding” (PROVERBS 3:5) when we feel doubt and uncertainty. When our minds are filled with fear and doubt, our paths can be unclear and distorted. But once we’ve made the decision to step out in faith by submitting our way to God, “he will make [our] paths straight” (V. 6). We become more confident taking leaps of faith by learning who God is through spending time in prayer and the Scriptures.

하나님을 붙잡고 삶의 변화들 가운데서 우리를 인도해 달라고 맡겨드리면 삶이 아무리 힘들어도 우리는 자유와 평안을 얻을 수 있습니다.

We can find freedom and tranquility even in life’s challenges as we hang on to God and allow Him to guide us through the changes in our lives.
