[365묵상] 전천후 감사 신앙을 가지라 Give Thanks In Every Weather

< 전천후 감사 신앙을 가지라 >

 

    예루살렘 성벽을 봉헌하게 되니 각처에서 레위 사람들을
    찾아 예루살렘으로 데려다가 감사하며 노래하며 (느헤미야 12:27)

 

 

 느헤미야의 주도로 예루살렘 성벽 수축을 마친 후 백성들은 성벽 봉헌식을 하려고 제사 인도 및 십일조 징수를 위해 각처로 흩어져 있던 레위 사람들을 모이게 해서 여러 악기를 동원해 찬양하며 즐겁게 봉헌식을 했다. 그 봉헌식의 대주제는 감사였다. 성도의 덕목에서 가장 중요한 것 중 하나가 감사다. 가장 훌륭한 성도는 감사가 넘치는 성도다. 가장 영성이 깊은 성도도 범사에 감사하는 성도다. 성경 지식이 조금 부족해도 감사가 많으면 누구보다 훌륭한 성도다.

 가장 중요한 훈련 중 하나도 감사 훈련이다. 제자 훈련 프로그램은 초급반, 중급반, 고급반으로 올라가는 체제다. 그런 체제가 지닌 부작용 중 하나는 성경 지식으로 영성 수준을 판단하는 것이다. 성경 지식보다 중요한 것이 범사에 감사하는 삶이다. 특별한 일이 있어야 감사하는 삶보다 평범한 일에서 감사하는 삶이 영성이 깊은 삶이다. 기막힌 간증거리가 있는 삶보다 간증거리가 없어도 기막히게 감사를 잘하는 삶이 더 복된 삶이다.

 어떤 사람은 암에 걸렸다가 기적적으로 나았다고 여기저기 간증하러 다닌다. 그러나 암에 걸리지 않고 건강하게 잘 사는 삶이 사실상 더욱 귀한 간증거리다. 힘든 상황을 극복하게 하신 하나님께 감사도 잘해야 하지만 힘든 상황을 미리 막아 주시고 지금까지 평탄하게 발걸음을 인도하신 하나님께 더욱 감사하라. 문제를 만나도 감사하고 문제가 없어도 감사하는 전천후 감사 신앙을 가지라. 나의 부족함을 생각할 때 어떤 고난을 당해도 나의 죄에 비해 훨씬 작은 고난이라 여기며 범사에 감사하라.

    하나님! 평범한 일상에서 감사거리를 찾아 감사하고
    고난 중에도 감사하는 전천후 감사 신앙을 갖게 하소서.

 

 

< Give Thanks in Every Weather >

At the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, the Levites were sought...
to celebrate joyfully the dedication with songs of thanksgiving  
and with the music of cymbals, harps and lyres. (Nehemiah 12:27)  

 After the construction of Jerusalem's wall under the leadership of Nehemiah, the people gathered the Levites from all their places and celebrated the wall dedication ceremony happily with songs of thanksgiving. The main theme of the dedication ceremony was gratitude. One of the most important virtues of the believers is gratitude. The best believers are those who are full of gratitude. The most spiritual believers are also those who give thanks in everything. Even if you lack Bible knowledge, if you have a lot of gratitude, you are a better believer than anyone else.

 One of the most important training is gratitude training. The discipleship training program is a system that goes up to beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes. One of the side effects of such a system is that the level of spirituality is judged by the knowledge of the Bible. What is more important than biblical knowledge is a life of giving thanks in everything. A life of giving thanks in ordinary things is a life of deep spirituality rather than a life of giving thanks in special things. A life of amazing gratitude without a testimony is a more blessed life than a life of amazing testimony.

 Some people go here and there to testify that they have miraculously recovered from cancer. But living a healthy life without cancer is actually a more precious testimony. You should thank God for helping you overcome the difficult situation, but thank God even more for preventing difficult situations in advance and guiding your steps smoothly so far. Have faith of giving thanks in every weather, being grateful even when you encounter a problem and being grateful even when you don't have a problem. When you think about your sins, consider that any suffering is much smaller than your sins and give thanks in everything.

 

  God! Let me find something to give thanks in ordinary daily life,
  and have faith of giving thanks even in the midst of hardship.
