Recently I saw a billboard stating that 80 percent of all life on Earth is found in the seas. That staggering number is difficult to process, largely because most of that life is out of sight		최근에 나는 지구상의 모든 생명체 중 80 퍼센트가 바다 속에 있다고 하는 광고판을 보았습니다. 그 생명체의 대부분이 우리 눈에 보이지 않기 때문에 그 엄청난 숫자를 이해하기가 쉽지 않습니다.
As I considered this, it reminded me of how much greater God’s creation is than we typically appreciate. While we can easily have our breath taken away by a majestic mountain range or a panoramic sunset, we sometimes fail to see His extraordinary work in the details that require more careful study and examination. Not only is much of God’s creation hidden by the oceans, but other parts are also too small for our eyes to observe. From the microscopically small to the unsearched reaches of the universe, it is all the work of our Creator. In those magnificent structures—seen and unseen—God’s creative glory is revealed (Rom. 1:20).		이것을 생각해보면서 하나님의 창조물들이 우리가 상식적으로 인식하고 있는 것보다 얼마나 더 위대한지를 깨닫게 되었습니다. 우리는 장엄한 산들과 석양의 전경을 보면서는 쉽게 경탄하지만, 더 주의 깊게 연구하고 알아보아야만 알 수 있는 세밀한 부분에서의 하나님의 놀라운 솜씨는 잘 보지 못합니다. 그 창조물 중 많은 것들이 바다에 숨겨져 있고, 또 다른 것들은 너무 작아서 우리의 육안으로는 볼 수도 없습니다. 현미경으로 보아야 할 작은 것으로부터 탐색되지 않은 우주의 끝까지 모든 것이 우리의 창조주의 작품입니다. 보이든지 안보이든지, 그 멋진 구조들 속에는 하나님의 창조의 영광이 드러나 있습니다(로마서 1:20).
As we grow to understand the wonder of creation, it must always point us to the Creator Himself—and call us to worship Him. As the psalmist said, “Let heaven and earth praise Him, the seas and everything that moves in them” (Ps. 69:34). If creation itself gives praise to the Creator, we can and should certainly join the chorus. What a mighty God we serve!  —Bill Crowder		우리가 창조의 경이로움을 알아갈수록, 그것은 언제나 우리의 시선을 창조주 그분께로 향하게 하고, 그분을 경배하라고 합니다. 시편기자가 말합니다. “천지가 그를 찬송할 것이요 바다와 그 중의 모든 동물도 그리할찌로다”(시편 69:34). 창조물 그 자체가 창조주를 찬양한다면, 우리는 당연히 그 찬양에 함께 해야 하고 또 그렇게 할 수 있습니다. 우리가 섬기는 하나님이 얼마나 위대하신지요!

The wonder of creation causes us to say, “What a wonderful God!”		창조의 신비는 “놀라우신 하나님!”이라고 감탄하게 한다.
