A group of us were helping to put together packets of material at an Our Daily Bread event in Orlando last winter when Corine greeted us. It was mid-morning, and she was sure we must be hungry and thirsty. I told her we were “fine,” and she replied, “I know you’re fine, but you need something to eat.” A few minutes later she came back with cold water and snacks.		지난겨울 올랜도에서 있었던 ‘오늘의 양식’ 행사에서 우리 중 몇 사람이 자료 묶음들을 정리하고 있을 때 코린이 와서 인사를 하였습니다. 오전 중간쯤이었고, 그녀는 우리가 목이 마르고 배가 고프리라 확신했습니다. 나는 코린에게 “괜찮다.”고 했지만, 그녀는 “괜찮다고 하시지만, 시장하실 거예요.”라고 대답했습니다. 잠시 후 그녀는 시원한 물과 간식을 가지고 왔습니다.
Throughout the 2 days we were there, Corine came by to check on us, bring us food or water, and take away our trash. On one occasion, I thanked her and said, “You have the gift of hospitality, don’t you, Corine!” She looked down and replied, “I don’t know. But you write the devotional articles, and I’ll clean up. And God will be glorified.”		우리가 거기 머무는 이틀 동안, 코린은 와서 우리를 살펴보고, 음식과 물을 가져다주고 쓰레기를 치워주었습니다. 한번은 내가 감사해 하며, “코린, 당신에겐 대접하는 은사가 있군요!”라고 하자 그녀는 고개를 숙이고 이렇게 대답했습니다. “잘 모르겠어요. 하지만 당신이 ‘오늘의 양식’에 글을 쓰고, 제가 청소를 하고, 그러면 하나님께서 영광을 받으시겠지요.”
Corine’s desire is to bring God glory by helping people. She definitely has the gift of hospitality and practices it well. God has graced each of His children with skills and abilities so that He can minister to others through us. You can find those gifts listed in Romans 12:4-13, 1 Corinthians 12: 27-31, Ephesians 4:7-12, and 1 Peter 4:9-11.		사람들을 도와줌으로써 하나님께 영광을 돌려드리는 것이 코린의 바램입니다. 그녀는 분명히 대접하는 은사가 있고 그 은사를 잘 사용하고 있습니다. 하나님은 우리를 통하여 다른 사람들에게 사역하실 수 있도록 하나님의 자녀들 각자에게 기술과 능력의 은사를 주셨습니다. 이러한 은사들의 목록은 로마서 12:4-13, 고린도전서 12:27-31, 에베소서 4:7-12, 그리고 베드로전서 4:9-11에서 찾아볼 수 있습니다.
