[365묵상] 하나님의 거룩한 스토킹

내가 시온을 위하여 크게 질투하며 그를 위하여 크게 분노함으로 질투하노라 (스가랴 8:2)

 

 요즘 싫은데도 자꾸 쫓아다니는 스토킹이 사회 문제가 되고 있다. 하나님도 사랑하는 성도를 그렇게 스토킹 하듯이 쫓아다니신다. 그것을 ‘하나님의 거룩한 스토킹’이라고 말할 수 있다. 하나님은 사랑하는 사람을 집요하게 뒤따르시며 그가 다른 것을 바라보면 때로는 무섭게 진노하신다.

 하나님의 거룩한 스토킹의 궁극적인 목적은 무엇인가? 치한들의 스토킹과 하나님의 거룩한 스토킹의 차이는 무엇인가? 치한들은 욕정의 만족을 위해 사람을 집요하게 쫓아다니지만 하나님은 축복과 영생을 주려고 영혼을 쫓아다니시는 것이다. 하나님의 거룩한 스토킹을 부담스럽게 생각하지 말고 마음을 돌려 하나님을 맞이하라. 그때 놀라운 회복의 은혜를 입는다.

 신기한 사실이 있다. 하나님의 질투하시는 사랑을 받는 사람은 더 이상 질투에 사로잡힌 사람이 되지 않는다는 사실이다. 반면에 하나님의 질투하시는 사랑을 받지 못한 사람은 마음이 병들고 질투에 사로잡히고 병든 경쟁심이 생겨난다. 가인에 의한 인류의 첫 살인이 왜 생겼는가? 병든 경쟁심 때문이었다.

 하나님의 사랑에서 단절되면 사람들은 사랑에 굶주린 자가 된다. 사람들의 몸부림은 대개 사랑과 인정을 받으려는 몸부림이다. 그런 몸부림이 병든 경쟁심을 불러일으켜 시기와 질투에 사로잡히는 것이다. 결국 각종 마음의 병으로부터 회복되는 기본적이고 핵심적인 방법은 질투하시는 하나님의 사랑을 받고 하나님의 임재 가운데 사는 것이다

    하나님! 하나님의 거룩한 스토킹에 기쁘게 응답함으로
    늘 하나님의 임재 가운데 감사하며 살아가게 하소서

January 2 - God's Holy Stalking

   I am very jealous for Zion;
   I am burning with jealousy for her. (Zechariah 8:2)

 Stalking is becoming a social problem these days. God also chases His beloved child as if He were stalking him. It can be called 'God's holy stalking'. God tenaciously follows the children He loves, and sometimes gets terribly angry when they look at something else.

 What is the ultimate purpose of God's holy stalking? What is the difference between the stalking of molesters and the holy stalking of God? Molesters relentlessly chase people to satisfy their lust, but God chases souls to give them blessings and eternal life. Don't feel burdened by God's holy stalking, turn your heart and greet God. Then you are blessed with an amazing recovery.

 There is a curious fact. The fact is that those who receive God's jealous love no longer become those who are possessed by jealousy. On the other hand, those who do not receive God's jealous love have a diseased mind, possessed by jealousy, and a diseased competitive spirit. Why did the first murder of mankind by Cain happen? It was because of a diseased competitive spirit.

 When cut off from God's love, people become hungry for love. The struggle of people is usually the struggle for love and recognition. Such struggles stir up a diseased competitive spirit, which leads to envy and jealousy. In the end, the basic and essential way to recover from various mental illnesses is to receive the love of a jealous God and live in His presence.

   God! Let me always be grateful in God's presence
   by responding joyfully to God's holy stalking.
