< 세상을 말씀으로 물들이라 >
"그가 그의 도를 가지고 우리에게 가르치실 것이라 우리가 그의 길로 행하리라 (미가 4:2)"
한 아내가 있었다. 그녀는 남편을 매우 사랑하고 존중했다. 어느 날 한 노래를 듣고 남편에 대한 자기 마음을 표현한 것 같아 노래를 음미하며 행복에 젖었다. 가수 BMK의 <물들어>라는 노래였다. “머리에 얹은 너의 손/ 나는 잊을 수가 없어서/ 내 아픈 가슴을 너의 익숙함으로/ 다시 감싸 줘야 해/ 나에게 너의 손이 닿은 후/ 나는 점점 물들어/ 너의 색으로 너의 익숙함으로/ 나를 모두 버리고/ 물들어 너의 사랑 안에 나는/ 물들어 벗어날 수 없는 너의 사랑에/ 나를 모두 버리고/ 커져만 가는 너의 사랑 안에 나는 이제....”
사랑은 내가 너에게 점점 물들고 네가 나에게 점점 물드는 것이다. 믿음이란 예수님을 영접하고 구원받은 후 점차 예수님을 닮아 가는 것이다. 즉 예수님께 물드는 것이고 하나님의 말씀에 물드는 것이다. 선교란 세상을 예수님의 사랑으로 물들이고 말씀으로 물들이는 것이다. 나를 하나님의 말씀으로 물들이면 내적인 평안과 외적인 평화가 생긴다. 더 나아가 세상을 말씀으로 물들이면 세상도 점차 평화롭게 된다.
세상을 평화롭게 만드는 영적인 혁명가의 비전을 가지라. 왜 말씀을 가까이해야 하는가? 말씀은 비전을 끊임없이 불타게 하는 핵심 원료이기 때문이다. 말씀을 통해 하나님의 마음을 읽고 하나님의 뜻을 파악하고 어느 곳으로 가야 할지 방향을 잡을 수 있다. 결국 말씀을 가까이하는 것은 가장 큰 성공이고 말씀을 멀리하는 것은 가장 큰 실패다. 말씀에 물든 거룩한 비전은 결코 헛되지 않다. 그 비전이 세상을 평화로 물들일 수 있다.
하나님! 예수님께 물들고 하나님의 말씀에 물들어
세상을 예수님의 사랑과 말씀으로 물들이게 하소서.
< Color the World with the Word >
He will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths. (Micah 4:2)
A woman loved and respected her husband very much. One day, when she heard a song, it felt like she expressed her feelings for her husband, so she savored the song and was soaked in happiness. The song was a song called "Colored" by Korean singer BMK. “Your hand on your head/ I can't forget it/ My aching heart with your familiarity/ I have to wrap again/ After your hand touches me/ I'm getting colored/ with your color, with your familiarity/ I'll abandon all of me/ and be colored with your love/ I'll abandon all of me/ I'm colored with your love that I can't escape/ I'm colored by your growing love...”
Love is what I'm getting colored by you and you're getting colored by me. Faith is to gradually become more like Jesus after accepting Jesus and being saved. In other words, faith is to be colored by Jesus and to be colored by the Word of God. Mission is to color the world with the love of Jesus and to color it with the Word. If I color myself with the Word of God, I will have inner peace and outer peace. Furthermore, if I color the world with the Word, the world will gradually become peaceful.
Have a vision of a spiritual revolutionary who makes the world peaceful. Why should we get close to the Word? That is because the Word is the key ingredient that constantly fuels the vision. Through the Word, we can read God's heart, understand God's will, and get directions to where we should go. In the end, being close to the Word is the greatest success, and staying away from the Word is the greatest failure. A holy vision colored with the Word is never in vain. That vision can color the world with peace.
Father! Let us be colored by Jesus and by the Word of God,
and let the world be colored by the love and Word of Jesus.
