< 중요한 일에 집중하라 >

    그런즉 너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라
    그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라 (마태복음 6:33)

 현대인에게 쓰는 마귀의 핵심 전략은 성도를 아주 바쁘게 하는 것이다. 바쁘게 사는 것이 꼭 잘사는 것은 아니다. 세상일에 너무 바빠서 하나님의 일을 놓치지 말라. 하나님은 하나님의 일을 본업처럼 여기는 사람의 일을 책임져 주시고 그를 주류 인생으로 올려 주신다.

 나를 향한 하나님의 특별하신 뜻을 이해하고 내가 가장 잘할 수 있는 일에 집중하라. 우선순위의 문제는 좋은 일과 나쁜 일 중 어떤 선택을 하느냐의 문제가 아니라 좋은 일과 더 좋은 일 중 어떤 선택을 하느냐의 문제다. 최상의 일을 선택해서 집중하는 삶이 우선순위의 삶이다.

 ‘많은 일’을 하기보다 ‘바른 일’을 하려고 하라. 많은 일을 성급하게 하지 말고 중요한 일을 시급하게 하라. 중요한 일에 집중하며 단순하게 살라. 신앙생활도 중요한 포인트를 놓치면 허무한 결과를 낳는다. 욕심을 따라 여기 저기 집회를 찾아다니고 이 일 저 일 손대면 점차 영혼이 약해지다가 사탄이 파놓은 함정에 빠진다.

 왜 주일을 꾸준히 지키는 삶이 중요한가? 주일은 산만한 마음을 가라앉히고 중요한 것에 집중하는 삶을 훈련하는 날이기 때문이다. 요새 중요한 것이 빠진 교회 생활이 많다. 즉 유명한 찬양 집회에 가서 손들고 찬양하는 것보다 교회에서 은밀하게 청소하는 것이 더 큰 찬양이 됨을 모르는 경우가 많다. 안타까운 일이다. 영적인 힘은 벌려 놓은 일을 정리하고 중요한 일에 집중할 때 주어진다.

 
    하나님! 산만한 마음을 가라앉히고 중요한 일에 집중해서
    하나님의 뜻을 이루어 주류 인생으로 살아가게 하소서.

 

< Focus on the Important Thing >

   But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
   and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)

 The devil's key strategy against modern believers is to keep them very busy. A busy life doesn't necessarily mean a good life. Do not miss God's work because you are too busy with worldly affairs. God is responsible for the work of a person who regards God's work as his main job and raises him to the mainstream of the Kingdom of God.

 Understand God's special will towards me and focus on what I can do best. The question of priority is not a matter of choosing between good and bad, but a matter of choosing between good and better. A life of choosing and focusing on the best work is the life of priority.

 Try to do the right thing rather than many things. Don't do many things hastily, do the important thing urgently. Focus on the important thing and live simply. If you miss an important point in your life of faith, you will be led to futile results. If you greedily go to meetings here and there and do this or that, your soul gradually weakens and falls into a trap dug by Satan.

 Why is it important to keep the Lord's Day consistently? This is because the Day is the day to train your life to calm down your distracted mind and focus on the important thing. There are many cases of church life missing important things these days. In other words, many people do not know that secretly cleaning in a church is a greater praise than going to a famous praise meeting and raising your hand in praise. It's a pity. Spiritual power comes from simplifying many things and focusing on the important thing.

 God! Let me live a life of the mainstream by fulfilling God's will,
 calming down my distracted mind and focusing on important things.
